How do I override the default event type for a location(s)?

Dates cannot be removed from a default event type.  The good news is there's a workaround which is summarized below.  

Step 1 - Create a new Event Type

Considerations for Overriding Default Event Types

• If the override default event is selected, the schedule for the Default Event Type will not be accessible to fundraisers until the date of the new event type ends.
• Previously approved events for the overridden default event are still on the books.
