Reputation Radar
🔍 New Feature: Reputation Radar
We’re excited to introduce Reputation Radar, a powerful AI tool designed to help restaurant brands partner with confidence. This feature automatically scans recent news and public records to flag potential reputational risks tied to organizations requesting fundraisers or donations. Whether it’s a recent controversy, legal issue, or instance of public backlash, you’ll see a clear risk badge right in your event queue, along with links to supporting sources when available. Reputation Radar gives your team a simple, actionable way to protect your brand while supporting the organizations that align with your brand.
An orange caution flag will automatically appear next to the organization name if any negative news was found on the web in the past 12 months. When you hover over the icon, you'll see a quick explanation for why the organization is flagged. Please note that these results are generated by an AI search and users are encouraged to conduct their own research.
Tip: A Reputation Radar flag doesn't automatically mean a request should be declined. Use the supporting articles to evaluate the situation and make the decision that best aligns with your brand's values and giving policies.

You can also easily view events where issues were found by clicking on the Filters tab.
From within the reservation, you will be able to see what information was discovered along with supporting links when possible.
What Should I Do If Reputation Radar Flags an Organization?
If Reputation Radar identifies potential concerns, review the supporting articles to better understand the situation and determine whether it aligns with your brand's community giving guidelines.
Depending on the severity of the issue, you may choose to:
- Contact the organization for additional context or clarification.
- Review the request with your internal team before approving the event.
- Decline the request if it does not meet your brand's community engagement standards.
Reputation Radar is designed to help you make informed decisions by surfacing publicly available information. The final approval decision should always be made according to your organization's policies and community giving guidelines.
📨 Email Updates
We'll automatically re-screen the organizations associated with approved events every two weeks to see if there's any new negative press to report. If so, the new information will be included in an email to the Admin and Invited Users, in addition to the event reservation in DonationScout.
