Internal Notes
Internal Notes
Internal Notes allow your team to capture important context about an event directly within the event page on DonationScout. Notes are visible only to internal users and are never shared with organizations or guests.
This helps teams keep track of decisions, special circumstances, and follow-ups without relying on outside communication channels.
When to Use Internal Notes
Internal Notes are useful for documenting information such as:
- Why an event request was approved or declined
- Special agreements with an organization
- Follow-up reminders for future events
- Feedback from a previous fundraiser
- Context for other team members reviewing the event
Adding an Internal Note
- Open the event inside DonationScout.
- Locate the Internal Notes tab next to the Activity Tab.
- Enter your note and or attachments and click Add Note to save.
Your note will now appear in the event’s Internal Notes section for your team to reference.
Who Can See Internal Notes
Internal Notes are only visible to users within your brand account.
They are not visible to:
- Organizations submitting requests
- Guests participating in fundraisers
- Public event pages
