Enhancement Alert:  Adding multi-location / multi-day events

Account holders and invited users can add events that were not booked through you brands fundraiser website by using the Add Existing Event option. 

Account holders can add events that were not booked through you brands fundraiser website by using the Add Existing Event option.  This is particularly helpful for regional events that span across multiple locations, an even multiple days.

To get started, navigate to your Dashboard page.

Select Add Existing Event to begin. On the next screen, you will configure the settings that apply to your specific event scenario.

1. Choose the day or days on which the event will take place.

Single Day
Choose Single Day for traditional one-day events or events that occur on multiple, non-consecutive dates.
Example: An event that takes place every Tuesday in January.

New addition to the Stats page: Comp Stats!

September 2025

Admin and Unrestricted DonationScout users can now view Comp data for locations open over 12 months.1) Select Comp from the Stats dropdown at the top right of the Restaurant Management Portal.

2) The default chart is set to Trailing 12 Months for all data associated with your account, but that can be changed by clicking the time range button and choosing the desired period. 


Minimum Threshold Functionality

August 2025

You've always had the ability to add a minimum threshold to your rules and restrictions, but adding this as a data point in DonationScout will eliminate erroneous emails due to the failure to check the Threshold Not Met button.  Now, anytime total sales don't meet the minimum threshold, the "Sales threshold NOT met" box is automatically checked, sending the correct message. 📨 Default Threshold NOT met email message.  *Users also have the ability to check the "Skip Notification" box which not send any automated correspondence.


Rebooking Frequency Constraint

July 2025

Add a frequency constraint to prevent organizations from booking multiple events too close together.  This goes for single and multi-day event types at the same location. Reach out to Meghan Anderson at meghan@donationscout.com to learn more. 


Bulk Actions for In-Kind Request

Automated Event Approvals

Reinstating Cancelled Events

June 2025

Accidentally cancelled an event, or have a good reason to bring one back? Simply click the Re-Approve Button to get the event back on the books!

Bring a canceled event back into approved status. Learn more here! Heads up: this only works for events scheduled in the future.


Changing Event Types for Approved Events

Occasionally, there’s a need to change the Event Type (public or private)for an existing fundraiser reservation.  Restaurant users can now update this directly from the reservation page.  Here’s how 👇


IRS Verification (Enhancement)

We know that everyone's accounting process varies, but for those who don't require actual documents on file, let DonationScout validate and verified that proper tax documentation is on file with the IRS. This also let's organization skip the step of uploading documents, which is especially helpful for mobile users.
